These two gentle girls were hand reared after they were orphaned at birth. They are now fully wild again, roaming the plains of Ol Pejeta.
Black rhinos are famous for their aggression but Lola and Nabul defy the stereotype. They are far from brassy. The two have for the past few years been hand-raised in our endangered species boma. Lola came to us from Lewa and Nabul later joined her from Mugi Ranch. In 2014, the two were released from the endangered species boma, to roam freely in Ol Pejeta and hopefully start families of their own.
By adopting The Debutantes for a year, you will help us to give them, and their potential offspring, the best chance at a safe future.
